King Air For Sale

The Beechcraft King Air is family of twin-turboprop aircraft manufactured by Beech Aircraft. There are two series, the 90 and 100, that belongs to the King Air family. They are not to be confused with the Super King Air family where the models 200 and 300 belong. Although Beech Aircraft dropped the "Super" in the 200 and 300 models in 1996, it is still often used to distinguish between the smaller 90s and 100s and the 200s and 300s. For the purpose of this article, we will be using "King Air" to refer to Beechcraft King Air 90 and 100 models.

The King Air is the best-selling aircraft of its kind. If you combine the number of units sold by all other competitors, the King Air will still have more units sold. It was also the first to be in production in 1964. The model 90 holds the honor of being the only small twin-turboprop business airplane being produced.

The King Air now faces competition from jet planes such as Beechcraft Premier I and Cessna Citation Mustang. There are also new single-turbo prop planes in the market that poses competition for the King Air such as the Piper Malibu and the Socata TBM.
